Kubernetes Didn’t Fail — Your Configuration Did

Kubernetes is a highly reliable orchestration platform, but it operates on a simple rule: it does exactly what your configuration tells it to do. Overly permissive RBAC, missing resource requests and limits, exposed NodePorts, unprotected APIs, and the absence of network policies are some of the most common reasons clusters fail in production. These issues don’t come from Kubernetes bugs—they come from YAML misconfigurations.

True Kubernetes reliability is achieved through hardened defaults, least-privilege access, policy-as-code, admission controllers, and automated CI/CD validation before anything reaches the cluster. Once workloads are live, continuous monitoring, logging, and runtime security are essential to detect misbehavior early and prevent cascading failures.

Kubernetes didn’t break.
It simply followed your instructions.

–  Secure by configuration
 – Stable by design
