Solution Architect — Freelance (Application Modernization & Stabilisation)

Visakhapatnam / Remote • Contract (3–6 months)

We’re looking for an experienced Solution Architect (Freelance/Contract) to audit, stabilize and modernize client mobile & web platforms (Node.js, Flutter, React/Vue, MongoDB). You’ll propose architecture improvements, lead stabilization work, and enable the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment & Diagnosis: Audit Node.js, Flutter, React/Vue apps and MongoDB infra — find bottlenecks.
Solution Design: Recommend fixes, modular roadmap (microservices, containers, K8s).
Execution: Lead stabilization (OTP flows, driver/rider connectivity), code restructuring, CI/CD enhancement.
Enablement: Mentor client engineers, document architecture & handover guides.

Type: Freelance / Project-based
Duration: 3–6 months (extendable)
Commitment: Part-time / Full-time (to be discussed)
Location: Visakhapatnam, Remote

Required Skills & Experience

Solution architecture experience in mobile + web modernization
Node.js, TypeScript, Flutter, React/Vue, MongoDB
Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitHub Actions/GitLab)
Strong DevOps / SRE experience — logging, monitoring, testing
Proven track record stabilizing monoliths & guiding modular migrations
Excellent client-facing & communication skills

Nice to Have

NestJS, PostgreSQL, Strangler Fig migration experience, ride-hailing / logistics / real-time apps, prior freelance/consulting work in modernization.
